- Download ELSA. Use the official store link for your device once available.
- Open the app. No account or login credentials are required to access ELSA data.
- Explore the data. Browse European and country-level storage and LNG information, map views and Urgent Market Messages. Check publication timestamps when reviewing data.
ELSA functions consistently across regions. Information is available in English only.
Questions about the app
Is ELSA free to use?
Yes. Access to the transparency data is free of charge. AGSI, ALSI and IIP data are also available through an API service.
Do I need an account or login?
No. No account or login credentials are required to access ELSA data.
Does ELSA work differently across regions?
No. ELSA functions consistently across all regions. Information is available in English only.
Where does the information come from?
ELSA brings together information published through GIE’s AGSI (Aggregated Gas Storage Inventory), ALSI (Aggregated LNG System Inventory) and Inside Information Platform (IIP). Data are supplied directly to GIE by infrastructure operators under REMIT.
How frequently is the information updated?
AGSI and ALSI provide daily European gas storage and LNG data. Urgent Market Messages are disclosed through IIP. Consult the timestamps and the source platforms for the latest published information.
What if data are unavailable or appear incorrect?
Check the relevant source platform and the publication timestamp. If the issue persists, contact gie@gie.eu with the affected country or facility, the date and a screenshot where possible.
How can I report a technical issue or send feedback?
Email gie@gie.eu for iOS or Android support, feedback and feature requests. Include your device model, operating-system version, ELSA app version and a description of the issue.
Which devices and operating systems are supported?
ELSA is intended for iOS and Android devices. Check the official app-store listing for the current supported devices and operating-system requirements.

Version 1.0 – Initial Release
Welcome to ELSA, GIE’s mobile application providing convenient access to European gas infrastructure transparency data.
ELSA extends the information already available through GIE’s transparency platforms AGSI, ALSI and the IIP Transparency Platforms, making key infrastructure data easier to access on mobile devices.

- Gas storage data – Access European gas storage information from AGSI.
- LNG data – View LNG terminal information available through ALSI.
- Daily operational data – Explore infrastructure operational data from the GIE Transparency Platform.
- Interactive maps – Relevant information at a glance.

- Direct connection with GIE transparency platforms – Easily move between ELSA and the underlying GIE data sources when more detailed information is needed.
About this release
Version 1.0 represents the initial public release of ELSA. Further improvements and new functionalities may be introduced in future versions based on technical developments and user feedback.
